Someone removed some sows and boars in very poor condition. Flossie was one of these poor pigs and I offered to take her as my vets is very close by and I could get there\u00a0quickly if needed plus I was on holiday so had time to be with her. I thought I would give her 48 hours to see if i could help her.. Her condition was swollen infected front feet (bumblefoot) and very skinny with hardly any fur .. I soaked her paws and rubbed in some sooting cream but noticed she was unable to walk so i placed her on a warm blanket and hand fed her bran mash. I also put in some hay and a handful of dry food within 10 mins this was all gone along with lots of water (she was also dehydrated).. Within 24 hours she had picked up and was a different pig and even chirped at me and as I bathed her feet she washed my hand.. It took a week before she was able to move gently around her cage.. Now she is reunited with Bronwyn she is a happy pig and always at the cage door waiting for her treat!!!<br>Her coat is slowly starting to grow back but I doubt it will ever be like it was when given to the person she was rescued off:-(<br>This is how a person being called a nasty ringleader and bully helps animals&#8230;<br>Yes that is what I am being called by the person Flossie was taken off..<br>Flossie and the others rescued did NOT get in that state overnight she suffered for a while\u00a0:'(<br>I have been to the house and was trying to help and advise but because I work in a school I am a bully as everyone who works in a school is a bully??
